My father was invited to do some slave work in forced labour for almost two years. After years of research I have information enough to wonder why there is no monument for all the people who were there in camps under horrible conditions.Companohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13550624957270842253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7417165224643292178.post-80642428553041709202009-09-24T13:53:53.479+01:002009-09-24T13:53:53.479+01:00Hi Agi, just to add that I would be interested to ...Hi Agi, just to add that I would be interested to hear more about your grandmother's experience of being at Flotten strasse. <br />I found some texts about it, but it seems not much has been written about it, and yet it was a big Argus Motorenwerke factory. This post has references to books+texts, which may interest you:http://guestworkerberlin.blogspot.com/2009/03/short-history-of-flotten-strasse.htmlMargareta Kernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02754589624174510491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7417165224643292178.post-91647942747726665462009-09-24T13:48:03.906+01:002009-09-24T13:48:03.906+01:00Hi Agi,

The original buildings from the ww2 era are 28-42 Flotten st and closer to the site where the forced labourers - concentration camp prisoners were housed is no 59. The whole area behind 28-42 Flotten str and going along the Kopenhagener str has the buildings built in the 30s. I have some documents of the buildings with info which got from a local archive, if you are interested let me know.
